My fingers are just too lazy to type. But I tell myself I have to update. So here I am.

It has been a hectic week, this and the previous one. Never undermine the concept of a "simple wedding". It's not simple at all. Anyway, most of it has been done and it's down to the "finishing touches". Don't wanna go into detail (though, I must say, this is the interesting part)....It was memorable...painful, stressful, hurtful, delightful, fun, funny...everything!

Oh yes, forget about my bro footing the bill. I told mak that I will pay for the caterer coz I found out that she's just saying that to give me the impression that my bro is concerned about my wedding and is willing to part with his cash - NOT. How I know? Well, she slipped out of the house one day when I was out. I am always worried when she goes out without telling me. I'm just worried mak will fall. So when I asked her where she had gone to, she told me she went to the bank to withdraw some money to pay the caterer. That's when I knew. I told her, I'll pay her...though the idea of inviting the 200 guests was not in my wedding plan at all. $8/pax times 200...do the math....

However, Alhamdullillah...I have mak. Despite her nags and her 'cerewetness', she's always there for me. I don't know what I'll do without her. Yes, she can hurt me sometimes, with her words and actions, but she's one person I can rely on ALL the time. It's sad, coz, we're the only 2 persons sort of 'handling' everything. She's the one who called for the caterer, the one that called all my relatives to invite them and on my part, IC and I, we did the whole ROMM thingy ourselves. It's fun, but it's sad at the same time coz the 'people' closest to me did not even ask how we're doing, and how the preparation is going on. Not that I'm hard up for any assistance whatsoever, but a call would be nice from the only other kin you know on the face of this earth.

I'm so grateful to Pinkiecutepie for giving me the 'lubang' for the made-for-boutique baju kurung. I'm so grateful to Hajar (though I've not confirmed with her yet) for agreeing to make me up for 'free' (transport fee only...heheh..thanks darling) and Fairy for that cute pen that I'm gonna use for my nikah. To my buddies in school who wanted so much to hold a hen's party for me, which I didn't want eventually....

Pinkie and Hajar were my colleagues during my MAS days. Although, we seldom talk and meet, the friendship is always there. I don't know...we were quite close when we were in MAS. I guess the memories and friendship keep us remindful that we should be there for each other, in one way or another, unconditionally. Pinkie is undergoing a tough time, but when I received the call that day, I was so happy for you. Yes, there will be hurdles you have to clear, you'll clear some and you'll trip some but eventually the finishing line will be crossed. And whatever position you are in, there will always be another race to run and hurdles to clear...and such is life.
